Elks Christmas Basket Project serves 170 families in need in 2013!
For more than 40 years, Red Wing Elks Lodge # 845 and our members have been raising money and working with local suppliers like Coca-Cola, Koplins Grocery, Kwik Trip & Hager Heights Chicken along with supporters like Treasure Island Resort & Casino and the Goodhue County Posse to provide baskets of food to local families in need for the Christmas Holiday.
In 2013, led by project coordinators Dennis Herling and Paul Drotos, Red Wing Elks Lodge # 845 and its volunteers delivered 170 baskets.
This event provides our members with a FABULOUS opportunity to encourage their children & grandchildren to volunteer. It is one of the most rewarding volunteer events conducted by our members.
